Laura and Joachim came from Denmark to spend their holiday in Romania and decided to try rock climbing in Brasov area. They climbed before, but had a break for a while. So we decided to go for sport climbing routes on the first day. We went to the base of Bucegi Mountains at the place called “Cariera”. The place was very nice and had a lot of routes for their level. Now that the warm up was done, the second day we changed the plan. A nice and easy classic multi pitch route from Postavaru Mountains would give us a relaxing and spectacular climb to remember. The unstable forecast did not scary us and we were happy about that, because finally the weather proved to be on our side. Every new pitch meant bigger height and more adrenaline. After reaching the top of the route we get the chance to admire Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. The satisfaction is maximum. Now comes the time for the big question: which day you liked best? Laura enjoyed best the classic route, while Joachim the sport climbing routes. We’re happy we chose something that pleased both of them.
