Welcome to Romania!

This is an 8 day trip you will never forget. We hike through Piatra Craiului National Park and Bucegi Natural Park on treks that give you the best scenery in Romania. During this trip we will also get to climb Omu Peak 2505m in Bucegi Mountains. Accommodation is provided in chalets and boarding houses.

Day 1
Meet at the airport and transfer to Busteni Town.
Accommodation: boarding house, Busteni.

Day 2
We start to hike from Busteni Town up to Babele Chalet, continue to Omu Peak 2505m and descend to Malaiesti Chalet. This day we will get a close view of the steep eastern mountainside of Bucegi Mountains.
Duration: 7-8 hours
Difficulty: medium effort
Accommodation: Malaiesti Chalet.

Day 3
Starting from beautiful Malaiesti Valley, we cross Bucegi Mountains to north and descend to Bran Village.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Difficulty: medium effort
Accommodation: boarding house, Bran.

Day 4
We start to hike from Bran Village, cross Magura Hill and visit an authentic mountain village from Bran area. We descend to Zarnesti Town.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Difficulty: low effort
Accommodation: boarding house, Zarnesti.

Day 5
This day we get to admire an amazing scenery while crossing Zarnesti Gorges and hike up to Curmatura Chalet, situated on SE mountainside of Piatra Craiului Mountains.
Duration: 4-5 hours
Difficulty: low-medium effort
Accommodation: Curmatura Chalet.

Day 6
From Curmatura Chalet  we climb Turnu Peak and hike along part of the northern ridge of Piatra Craiului Mountains up to Padina Popii Peak 1970m. We finish the hike descending back to Curmatura Chalet.
Duration: 5-6 hours

Accommodation: Curmatura Chalet.

Day 7
Stating from Curmatura Chalet, this time we climb Ascutit Peak, and hike the rest of the northern ridge climbing the highest peak of Piatra Craiului Mountains, La Om Peak 2242m. We descend on La Lanturi Route down to Plaiu Foii. All day long we will enjoy the breathtaking views that Piatra Craiului National Park offers.

Day 8
Transfer to the airport.
