Your Guide teamed with our friend Adi and went to climb very difficult classic climbing route in Bucegi Mountains. Don Corleone is a summer 10 pitch route with northern exposure, graded 7 UIAA. A three hour approach hike is necessary to get from Busteni Town to the base of the route. During the climb we saw edelweiss flowers, black goats, wall-creepers and later a bear’s den on Costila-Galbinele Ridge, on the way back. After the hike we abseiled to Galbinele Valley and hiked another four hours to Busteni Town.
